Mike and Maddie are the animal lovers in the family. Gracie and I tend to think they are some what of a nusance. Mike and Maddie decided to start looking for a puppy about 2 months ago. I'm not much for adding chaos to our lives and that usually is what is included when a new puppy is added to the family. As many of you know we go through dogs like shoes. (I KNOW) so after a lot of research we decided the best kind of dog for our family would be a small house dog, that can't jump and knock Maddie and Gracie down. After months of looking on the Internet we all decided that a miniature dachshund would be the best "Fit" for our family. Of course the cat hates her, but so far so good - and best of all no anxiety for me! Hannah was the runt of the bunch and seems to be a loving puppy. I think she will be good for Maddie, they are pals. When Maddie leaves for school Hannah goes all over the house looking for her and she gets excited when Maddie gets home from school. Gracie likes her, but I think Gracie thinks she is a bother to her - Hannah goes around trying to chase Gracie's feet. It is a pretty funny site Hannah is so small that I am more worried about Graice stepping on her than Hannah doing anything to hurt Gracie.
