Well As you can see in the following pictures we were STUCK! Someone had the brilliant idea of taking the snowmobiles to Birdseye on Christmas day. It usually takes us about 20 minutes to get to my mom and dad's house - today it took us 50 minutes because of the BLIZZARD outside. Once we got to the "old house" we were pleasantly met by my dad in his tractor plowing the roads....unfortunately we did not make it too far. We were stuck in the truck for over an hour (not to mention the fact that Gracie got sick and threw up in the truck and there was nothing I could do to help her) So My dad tried to pull us out with his tractor in the front - then my brother in law tried to pull us backwards with his truck. NEITHER WORKED - I am not sure how we got out, but we ended up leaving the snowmobile trailer at the old house. We had all gotten together and bought my parents a pretty nice BBQ for Christmas, it was in the snowmobile trailer. My dad must have liked it because instead of leaving it he picked it up with his tractor and hauled it up to the house in the snow.It was a pretty relaxing day - at least for me. I got to spend the entire day holding my sick little girl inside the warm house. Oh' did I mention we got also got snowed in and had to spend the night? Oh did I mention the power went out right as we started to watch Mama Mia? Oh' did I mention my mom made breakfast with NO POWER the next morning. Yes it was a memorable Christmas.
