Christmas is my most favorite time of the year - I love the cold weather, the snow, the hot chocolate, making cookies.......So far we have had a pretty mild fall/winter and it doesn't seem like the Holiday Season time - Maddie talked me into putting up our Christmas Tree, unually we wait until after Thanksgiving, but we seem to be lacking in "cheer" these days. My work has been crazy...did I say CRAZY!!! Mike is keeping busy, but with the economy who knows for how long. Maddie has been sick and not going to school. I am having a hard time figuring out what the problem is. She went to the doctor, he said she had a virus, but she hasn't been herself lately. Gracie - well she is Gracie - keeping us laughing and enjoying the "can can's" (Candy Canes) on the Christmas tree. At least she has been in a JOLLY mood.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving - we are going to Mike's parents house at 1:00. I am hoping to be able to go to my parents house afterwards to see everyone. Tyler (my nephew) is home from Las Vegas where he is attending college on a baseball scholarship. It has been awhile since I have seen him and I sure miss him. Mike has decided to work the day after Thanksgiving & I am a little down about that. NOT that I want to go Christmas shopping or anything on that day - but it is nice to have him home.
